Overview
Resilient Supply Chains is a practical, operationally focused course designed to help supply chain professionals understand how organisations can prepare for disruption, respond to uncertainty and maintain operational continuity.
Modern supply chains operate in an increasingly volatile environment shaped by geopolitical instability, cyber threats, transport disruption, supplier failure, pandemics, labour shortages and economic uncertainty. Traditional efficiency-driven supply chains are no longer enough on their own. Organisations must now balance efficiency with resilience.
This course introduces the core principles of supply chain resilience, operational continuity and adaptive capability. Learners will explore supply chain risk mapping, supplier vulnerability, contingency planning, resilience metrics, crisis response, inventory buffering, dual sourcing and recovery planning.
The course uses practical supply chain scenarios, resilience assessments and operational case studies to build real-world capability that can be applied immediately.
This course is suitable for both commercial and defence supply chain environments.
